After many years of 'lurking' on this website and downloading and using sounds for my projects, i am happy to hopefully contribute something useful to this site. I am not a professional audio tech or anything related, but i do own a zoom h5 recorder and had to make some recordings for one of my multimedia projects. This recording was made at the harbour of scheveningen, the netherlands on february 7th around 22. 00 pm.

Ljubljana (slo) 8 am, my bialetti is struggling against an induction plate. And "she" won ! recorded with the built-in xy mikes of a r09 recorder.

This is a natural sound from a compressor. Good to use for any sound effects.

This is a sound of bizarre machine (one of many) i have found in the mindbar. After arriving i immediately recognised very specific odor of this place. Fortunately nobody noticed me.

The sound is of an lg french-door refrigerator that just had the compressor replaced but had too much freon loaded. The tubing dedicated to the freezer section accumulated frost which internal fan blades were rubbing against. Later, a savvy technician released some measure of freon and the sound went away. So the sound is now only a memory. No effects or alteration has been applied. The sound was recorded using 'voice record pro' by dayana networks ltd using an iphone 11, ios 15. 6.

For things that require a robotic synthetic voice for the effect.

The sound of a lift in an office block in hounslow. It has a clanking mechanical sound that might work for a metal monster or robot in a sci-fi film. The lift chimes are also very old school and might be useful as well. Recorded with a tascam dr44wl.

The sound of a machine at a construction site.

The dreaded sound of a police car before you get pulled over. Recorded on an ipad using an audio technica boom mic.

Yet another mechanical ratcheting sound. Medium strength.

Coffee maker recorded with zoom h4n pro on tripod. Low-pass filter applied to remove some high pitch snaps. Roughly first 40 seconds reconstructed from clips to extend sound of water gurgling. Recorded for use as a sound effect for a play.

The washing machine is on spin mode. I'm afraid there's a bit of wind distortion in the latter part of the sound. This might make a neat sci-fi noise, maybe.
